For a better resilience of French territories

Given the instability of the climate and our limited resources, it is now essential to rethink our models and transform our territories.

Le Think Tank « The Shift Project » propose un nouveau rapport qui fait partie des 20 communs sélectionnés par l’ADEME lors de la première édition de son appel à communs lancé sur le sujet systémique de la résilience des territoires (rapport complet). 

This book is part of the Shift Project and its partners' campaign aimed at elected officials and decision-makers in French territories. It selects and illustrates, based on a number of local examples, infographics and drawings, the challenges and transformations to be achieved for six types of territories such as Cities, Countryside, Metropolises, Mountain, Coastal, and Overseas. It proposes approaches adapted to the new issues. It argues for the exemplarity of territorial administrations and finally proposes a typical path in 3 steps to turn around before the end of the mandate (2026):

1. Understand: take the time to understand and share the issues;
2. Mobilize: build a new desirable, sober and resilient "territory project";
3. Reorient: align all of its action with the new vision and its goals of resilience and ecological transition.

Chez Phébé, nous sommes très attentifs à ces nouvelles voies d’orientation proposées par le Shift. Au travers de nos activités de conseils, il nous arrive de travailler régulièrement auprès des élus et des décideurs de nos territoires. Les sensibiliser et les inciter à lancer des chantiers de la transformation sont un excellent moyen d’anticiper sur les enjeux et d’offrir à nos concitoyens un avenir plus désirable.
